What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.

Our latest release focuses on consistency and ease of use.

In this release, we’ve made some big improvements to the way you navigate and interact with The Wild. With a focus on consistency and learnability in VR, our 1.15 release brings updates that will give you the confidence to share The Wild with remote teammates and stakeholders who are new to virtual reality.

Central UI Menu

We’ve added a brand new central UI menu in VR so you can easily access your content library, tools, settings, and people menus.

Unified Point-and-Click Interaction Model

We’ve updated all 2D UI in VR to use a point and click interaction model, for better ergonomics and ease of use.

This includes the VR Content library — you can now point and click on your library to access content and spaces, making it easier for new visitors to get into a space. You can still reach in and grab a portal to bring yourself and others to new spaces.

People Menu

Our new People menu gives you better context and control by showing who’s in a space with you, and allows you to easily gather everyone (or individuals) to your location, as well as go to any individual’s location.

Because this is accessible for all VR visitors from the Central menu, we've removed the People tool from your VR toolset.

VR Settings Panel

We’ve added a new settings panel where you can manage preferences in VR.

Additional Improvements

Update to Universal Render Pipeline

We’ve updated our app to take advantage of Unity’s Universal Render Pipeline, laying the groundwork for improved lighting and visuals.

Avatar Name Tag updates

We’ve moved avatars’ names above the head for better visibility, and added a graphic that appears when someone is speaking for better context.

Point & Click Keyboard

We’ve updated our current tap keyboard to also utilize point and click interaction.
