Importing 3D models or images into The Wild
To get started, select a project or collection, and then simply hit the 'upload' button. Then select a 3D model from your computer, for example, an OBJ file exported from SketchUp. You can see all file types and formats that are supported for import.
Once you hit upload, a preview is created. You can then change the name of your asset and set the scale by selecting the model units. You can also select materials by clicking on them in the preview window, and you can change material parameters such as color, and load additional maps or fine tune reflections.
When ready, you hit 'upload' and your model will appear as an asset in the Library. Once you're in VR, you simply navigate to your asset, pull out the tile, and your model will load into the space.
